sessions | everyone deserves a newborn/senior shoot | bloomington indiana senior & newborn photographer

We believe that everyone deserves great photos of their brand new bundle of joy and/or celebrating a high school senior. This is what we live for to create for you, it is why we became photographers.

When you choose our studio to photograph these amazing and one of a kind moments we know your investing in us. We offer a fun, safe, and wonderful place that allows us to create freely  and you as a senior to just relax and be yourself without judgment. This experience with our studio is one of a kind and by having these memories captured its life changing for you. No more regrets.

We know professional photography is expensive and we hear it time and time again “your too expensive” or “your out of my budget”. But lets be honest, we got bills to pay too! So now, we are taking away that excuse for at least the next month!

Money.

We are opening up just 10 spots for Newborn and 10 spots for Senior shoots that we call “Name your own price shoots”.

You read that correctly, email us to let us know what you are wanting (newborn or senior) and what you want to pay.  That’s it.  It’s that simple.  No reasonable offer will be refused.  If your offer seems a little unreasonable, we will let you know what collection will hopefully work best for all of us based on the budget you give us to work with.

As a reference, our standard session fee is $125.  The sessions are completely customized based based on you! (You can book standard collections as well of course if you wish.)

There are a few things to consider when choosing to do a “Name Your Own Price” Collection:

  1. We are starting by offering only 10 slots from now until May 31, 2016.
  2.  If doing a senior session we HIGHLY recommend you have your makeup (and hair) done by a professional salon. It’s a small added expense that lends itself to huge results from your session.
  3. Sessions are scheduled Tuesday through Friday, and some Saturdays starting at 10am.
  4. A reasonable offer is one that you are happy to pay, and that we are happy to receive.  Keep in mind that we must still cover our expenses. This is how we pay our bills so we hope to make some money as that would be awesome!
  5. We do offer products such as albums, canvas prints, metal prints, acrylic blocks and more.
  6. We accept all major credit cards, checks, cash and PayPal.  Once your offer is accepted, we will invoice you and send you our client agreement.  There is a 50% retainer on all sessions.  The remainder will be due prior to the session time.
  7. We promise you an awesome experience no matter what you pay or what session you choose.
Our email is studio@lynetteweberphotography.com.  What are you waiting for? Now’s the time to call us!

Featured Vendor – The Old Barn At Brown County | Bloomington, IN Wedding Photographer

We recently took a trip to visit some local wedding vendors.  One of the places we stopped at was the Old Barn at Brown County.  This 3,800 square foot barn was originally built in the late 1800s.  It has been fully restored to it’s original beauty.  It is the perfect venue for anyone wanting a rustic barn for their wedding and/or reception.

One of the most fantastic amenities this barn has is it’s own hand hewed log cabin on the property!  The Big Easy cabin was also built in the late 1800’s, it is a great place for the Bride & Groom to enjoy their first night as a married couple.  Allowing them the opportunity to stay on property and not have to find other accommodations in town.  The cabin is rentable for the entire weekend of the wedding.  It is a perfect place for the bridal party to have breakfast in the full kitchen, relax in the hot tub, and get ready for the wedding.

Brian & Darla Fenneman are the owners of this beautiful property.  They gave us a tour and shared with us their vision for the Old Barn At Brown County.  There is still a lot of work being done on the property, getting ready for wedding season to start.  This will be their first season as a wedding venue in Brown County, and we are sure that couples are going to love having this backdrop to their country wedding.

The barn has a new concrete floor.  There are lantern sconces all the way around the reception area, and a beautiful chandelier hanging in the center.  New wiring and plenty of outlets at every beam.  There is an enclosed bar with a serving window to the reception, complete with a chalkboard on the wall to share a bar menu, or even just a little welcome note to all of the wedding guests.  Caterers will love the large prep area built just for them.  Above the catering prep area and bar is a loft that will also be available for guest tables. With using the main floor and the loft, the barn can comfortably seat 180 guests.

There is a large yard that will be great for ceremonies.  Brian & Darla are having benches custom built for the ceremony area.  They have chosen the perfect spot that allows you to hang lighting, or even bring a decorated arch for the bride and groom to stand under.

We definitely recommend that you contact the Old Barn At Brown County for a tour.  Check out their website for more information about the barn and cabin.  http://www.theoldbarnatbrowncounty.com

Featured Local Business – Bloomington Sandwich Co.

We have decided to feature a local business every now and then. There are so many great, locally owned, businesses here in Bloomington. Being a small business ourselves, we love to support everything local.

Our first featured business is our new favorite sandwich shop! The Bloomington Sandwich Co. is located at 118 E. Kirkwood Ave. They have an amazing Muffaletta. We have enjoyed everything we have tried there so far. There are so many different sandwiches to try, it might take a while for us to get through the entire menu.

On a recent trip, we ordered the BSC Club and the BSC Sub. Both excellent choices!

We highly recommend that if you haven’t been to the Bloomington Sandwich Co., you give it a try.
